Complete applications must include $75 submission fee\,  Artist Statement\, Biography\, 3 original submissions of previous Plein Air works for Jury Deliberation. If selected\, the artwork submitted may be used by the LOAC for marketing purposes to showcase participating artists.\n\nJury-selected participants will be notified on Friday\, 8 March 2024. \n\nOnce selected\, each participant will contribute examples of their previous Plein Air works to the LOAC's main gallery for exhibition during and subsequent the event. \n\n\n\nThe $75 submission fee is non-refundable.  \n\nEarly Registration - applicants who have completed registration by Tuesday\, Feb 20\, 2024 will qualify for advanced notice of acceptance on Friday\, Feb 23\, 2024. Registrations received after Feb 20\, 2024 will receive notification of acceptance on Friday\, March 8\, 2024. \n\nGeneral Competition Prizes: \n\nFirst Place- $1000\n\nSecond Place- $750\n\nThird Place- $400\n\n \n\nQuick Draw Prizes:\n\nFirst Place- $1500\n\nSecond Place- $850\n\nThird Place- $500\n\nArtist Agrees that by participation in Paint Texas!\, all first place winning artwork (with respect to both Paint Texas! Contest Winner & Quick Draw Winner) will be surrendered to the LOAC as a donation.  Letter of donation can be obtained from the LOAC for tax purposes.
