Readers of all ages will explore the animal kingdom this summer as Nesbitt Memorial Library presents "Tails and Tales" during their summer library program. Reading programs are available for children 3 to 13, teens 13-18 and adults. Programs include a storytime with local celebrity readers, family movies, science and engineering experiments (registration required), adult book discussions, and two special programs for all ages by Austin Arachnological Services and Austin Reptile Service.
The goal of the summer library program is to encourage the children of our community to read for pleasure during the summer and to retain their reading skills. The 2021 Summer Reading Program will have a bucket drawing for participants in the reading club, and more. Registration for "Tails and Tales" begins on Tuesday, June 1 and continues through July 16. For more information, call the library at 979-732-3392 or visit the website www.columbustexaslibrary.net
