Bees & Bee Removal
Ron Chess, owner of Chessdale Acres Apiaries, has been a beekeeper for more than 10 years. He learned all about beekeeping through the Central Texas Beekeeper Association in Brenham, Tx. Ron currently maintains and manages 43 bee hives all located in Austin and Colorado County in the Bernardo area. He is licensed with Texas Health Services as a Food Manufacturer. If you are looking for great local honey you can find Chessdale Acres honey at the monthly (last Saturday of the month) Country Market in downtown Columbus, at Beckey's Cafe located at 1237 Bowie Street in Columbus and at Bernardo Farm & Ranch.
