About Us

Combined Community Action, Inc. (CCA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been providing services since 1966 in order to help change lives and assist people in our communities.

CCA was established as the Bastrop County Community Action. Later, the agency added the counties of Austin, Colorado, Fayette and Lee. SInce 1978, CCA has also sponsored the Senior Nutrition Program, Meals on Wheels Rural Capital Area. MOWRCA serves the six counties of Bastrop, Blanco, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays and Lee.

The purpose of CCA is to stimulate the coordination of all available local, state, private and federal resources with the goal of enabling low-income families and low-income individuals of all ages to attain the skills, knowledge and motivation to secure the opportunities needed for them to become fully self-sufficient.

Community action changes peoples lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

CCA Mission Statement: Combined Community Action's mission is to assist people to become independent and self-sufficient by transitioning people out of poverty and providing comprehensive programs that support families and individuals.

MOWRCA Mission Statement: To help the elderly to remain independent and well nourished in their own homes for as long as possible and to maintain their dignity as they grow older.
