About Us

Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) is a community-owned, not for profit electric utility in Kerrville, TX. We are in the process of building our first power generation facility, a 122 MW natural gas-fired reciprocating internal combustion engine (RICE) plant, located in Colorado County, approximately 10 miles south of Columbus, Texas, which is expected to come online in summer 2027.
